A separate account for your customers

Customers of businesses on Flowlyup now have their own personal account, separate from the business account: Home shows the next booking and what needs attention, next to it are Bookings, Purchases, Chats and Profile. The account installs on the phone as an app right from your page, with no App Store or Google Play, and opens with your logo. Below is a live example: this is how your customer will see it.

Why customers need their own account

Before, a customer's bookings and orders opened in the shared account, next to the business tools. Someone who simply comes in for a haircut has no use for the staff calendar or sales: what matters to them is when the visit is, whether everything is in order and how to book again.

Now there are two accounts. The Personal account is for customers: their bookings, purchases and chats with businesses. The Business account is for the owner and staff: clients, bookings, the storefront and the team. The system decides which one to open based on who signed in: a customer goes straight to the personal account, and someone who also runs a business chooses an account at sign-in and can switch at any time in their profile.

What's inside

  • Home is a short summary, not a feed: the next booking with date, time, specialist, address and payment, a Needs attention block (an unread reply in chat, an order awaiting payment, two bookings at the same time, a cancellation by the business), Coming up and Book again for past services.
  • Bookings shows upcoming visits by day and past ones by month. Each booking has Directions, Call, Message, adding to the phone calendar and cancellation.
  • Purchases shows active orders with a status in plain words, session packages with what is left and the history by month. An order shows its items, payment, recipient, delivery and status history.
  • Chats is the conversation with your business, if chat is turned on. Replies arrive as notifications on the phone.
  • Profile holds the name, photo, language and notification settings together with the list of devices that receive them.

Your logo and your colours

When a customer comes from your page or installed your app, your logo and name sit in the corner of the account, your avatar is on the browser tab, and only bookings and purchases with you are shown, without other businesses. On the Plus plan with white label the account takes on your brand colour: accent cards, counters and unread markers, and the Powered by Flowlyup caption disappears.

If a customer visits several businesses on Flowlyup and opens the account on the platform site, there is an All companies mode with a switcher: their bookings with different specialists are gathered in one place.

An app on the phone without the App Store

The account is part of your app. The customer installs it from your page in three taps, and an icon with your avatar appears on the home screen:

  1. The customer opens your page via a link or QR code and taps Install without downloading on the installation page.
  2. On iPhone, Share and then Add to Home Screen in Safari; on Android, Install app in the Chrome menu.
  3. The app opens from the home screen on your page, without the address bar and tabs. The personal account opens in the same app window, and sign-in is remembered.

On iPhone notifications arrive only in an installed app, so the account itself offers to turn them on with a strip on Home, and the profile shows which devices receive them.

Reminders and one-tap confirmation

A day and 3 hours before the visit the customer gets a reminder. While the booking is not confirmed, a "Confirm your booking!" request arrives instead: a tap opens the booking card, and Confirm is a single button. The status changes to Confirmed and you see it in your calendar: the day before, you already know who is coming.

Reviews only from buyers

In Purchases a received order has a Rate button: the customer gives one to five stars and writes a review of the product. Only someone who bought and received the product can leave a review, so the ratings in your store come from real customers.

Plan

The customer's personal account, installing the app and the icon with your avatar are available on every plan, including the free Start. Booking reminders, online chat, the store and white label with your colours are part of the Plus plan at 990 ₽ per month. For the first 14 days after sign-up Plus is free with no card required.

Try it with your own clients

The Start plan is free with no time limit. For the first 14 days all Plus features are enabled, no card required.

Frequently asked questions

Have a different question? Reach out to our support team by sending us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Do I need to set anything up?
No. The personal account works for all your customers on its own. For the app to install with your icon, upload the company avatar in Settings on the App icon tile.
How does a customer get into the account?
By signing in on your page, including in the installed app, or through the link in a booking notification. After sign-in the account shows the bookings and purchases of that particular person.
Will the customer see other businesses?
No, if they came from your page or your app: the account shows only your business. The All companies mode appears only when the customer opens the account on the platform site themselves.
Does the customer need to download an app from the App Store or Google Play?
No. The app installs straight from the browser: on iPhone through Share and Add to Home Screen in Safari, on Android through Install app in the Chrome menu.
How is the personal account different from the business account?
The personal account is for customers: their bookings, purchases and chats. The business account is for the owner and staff: clients, calendar, sales, storefront and settings. Someone who also runs a business switches between the accounts in their profile.
Is it free?
Yes, the personal account and installing the app are part of the free Start plan. Reminders, chat, the store and the brand colours of the account are part of the Plus plan.
